Loren and James Ridinger Announce marketamerica.com will Sponsor 10th Annual Fashion Art Ball to Benefit Cystic Fibrosis
Greensboro, NC (PRWEB) April 1, 2008 -- Loren and James Ridinger, senior vice president and president and CEO of Market America, Inc. announced today that marketamerica.com will be the title sponsor of the 10th annual Fashion Art Ball to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Friday April 4th at Casa Casuarina in Miami Beach.
The event will be highlighted by a celebrity fashion show where James Ridinger will be one of the featured celebrity models. Among those joining Ridinger on the runway will be Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver Terrell Owens and director Brett Ratner (Rush Hour movies and X-Men: The Last Stand).
"The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's mission is to assure the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease," said James Ridinger. "Market America is proud to sponsor and participate in an event that allows the Miami Beach community to come together and aid the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in their mission."
Loren Ridinger, who along with her husband have long been advocates for children's causes though their work with organizations such as Make a Wish and The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, said she is amazed at the successes of the foundation. "When the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was formed in 1955 children were not expected to live long enough to attend elementary school," said Loren Ridinger. "Today, someone diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis can expect to live well into their 30's. The foundation is to be commended for their extraordinary efforts and we as a company and as individuals are pleased to do whatever we can to help those diagnosed with this disease enjoy life to its fullest and to ultimately find a cure."
