WestLake Introduces New Delivery Method for IT Training: Jam Sessions
Washington, DC (PRWEB) June 5, 2007 -- WestLake Training and Development, the premier IT company offering Web application development training, is pleased to introduce its latest delivery method for IT training, known as "Jam Sessions."
All Jam Sessions from WestLake include short, instructor-led virtual classroom sessions that may be delivered on specific topics at any time during, before, or after the business day. These IT training sessions are followed by lab-intensive, self-study segments that students may complete at their own pace and during their own time. Once the self-study is finished, the instructor delivers another live, virtual two-hour recitation to evaluate the students' work, clarify concepts, and answer questions.
"We've traditionally been big believers in the instructor-led experience when it comes to Web application development training, but there's definitely something to be said for the efficiencies of asynchronous training and self-paced study," said Charlie Fink, vice president of training and delivery for WestLake.
